The SRHIN Health Equity Champions (SHEC) program is a voluntary program where SRHIN recruits, trains, and supports 40 emerging leaders approximately between 18-30 years of age who will be Health Equity Champions for SRHIN across different states in Nigeria. Slum and Rural Health Initiative (SRHIN) is a nonprofit organization that started operations in 2017 and is officially registered in Nigeria, Ethiopia, and the Gambia that improves access to healthcare information and services in Africa, especially in vulnerable and underserved communities using the tools of advocacy, research, and technology.

Some of the benefits attached include:
