Guides and Learners

Unto the ignorant, a guide emerged,
Not just to instruct but wisdom to urge.

A cane held, a reminder's refrain,
Echoing lessons, a rhythmic pain.

"Readers are leaders," the mantra clear,
Teaching us to read, leadership near.

Aristotle's wisdom, bitter roots proclaimed,
Sweets and candies in dreams framed.

Yet, assignments amiss, assessments failed,
Bitter roots revealed, as Aristotle hailed.

In tender moments, our weaknesses embraced,
Class a refuge, where strengths are traced.

As the day dims, rest is beckoned,
The teacher's charm, a memory reckoned.

"We're his pride," he pledged aloud,
"Buckle down," the echo, lazy shroud.

Some learners aflame, wood on fire,
Others unkindled, yet to aspire.

Assembly called, like ants convene,
Around wisdom, a collective sheen.

A teacher, sturdy as a tiger's might,
Gentle as a dove in the soft twilight.

Calm as a river in the forest's hush,
Thunder striking when needed, a force to crush.

Everyone knows faults, a glaring view,
Yet, a teacher excels in guiding anew.
