Details:
The Enterprise for Youth in Agriculture program offers training opportunities for unemployed youth and women in vegetable production, particularly focusing on olericulture (vegetable cultivation). The program utilizes technology to enhance productivity in this field.

Program Structure:
- 1000 students are admitted quarterly, forming 20 groups of 50 team members each.
- The program admits students four times a year, resulting in an annual intake of 4000 students.

Technologies Deployed:
The program utilizes the following technologies:
1. Greenhouse farming: Climate-smart growing method enabling control over biotic and abiotic factors.
2. Soilless farming (hydroponics): A method independent of soil for year-round cultivation.
3. ML & AI tools: Employed for irrigation monitoring, nutrient management, and optimization.
4. Integrated Pest Management: Utilizing physical and biological control methods for pest management.

Requirements:
To be eligible for the program, applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Age group: 18-29 years at the time of application.
- Genuine interest in olericulture.
- Available for 12 weeks of physical training.
- Physical and mental fitness to work in a team on the farm.
- Willingness to live and work at the project location in Awowo, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
- No criminal record.
- Willingness to adhere to project rules and regulations.

Duration and Reward:
During the three-month training period:
- Students earn a stipend.
- Accommodation is provided.
- Learn greenhouse and hydroponics setup/management.
From the fourth month onward:
- Students earn salaries from the sales of produce from their own company.

Work & Learn Details:
- Each group of 50 students jointly owns a 3-plot hydroponics farm.
- Teams within the group focus on different aspects such as technical, agronomy, packaging/branding, logistics, and account/management.
- Training covers basic greenhouse and soilless farm setup, ML and AI, olericulture production, and specific unit training.
