The MUSWEN Scholarship Program aims to provide scholarships to deserving indigent female Muslim medical students in their clinical years.

MUSWEN, the umbrella organization representing Muslim organizations, institutions, and individuals in the South Western part of Nigeria, has a strong focus on the unity of the ummah, education, health, and empowerment.

Scholarship Details:
MUSWEN, as the umbrella body for Muslim organizations, institutions, and individuals in South West Nigeria, has been offering scholarship slots to deserving indigent female Muslim medical students in their clinical years since 2009. They prioritize the unity of the ummah, education, health, and empowerment.

Scholarship Requirements:
To be eligible for the MUSWEN Scholarship Program, you must:
- Be an indigene of one of the six South West states: Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, and Oyo
- Be a female Muslim medical student in a public university at the 300-level or above, with a minimum CGPA of 3.5.

Scholarship Duration and Reward:
The MUSWEN Scholarship Program offers a full scholarship to selected students.

Method of Application:
If you are interested in applying for the scholarship, please submit a written application to the Executive Secretary, Muslim Ummah of South West Nigeria (MUSWEN), 46, Iwo Road, Ibadan. The application must be submitted through the President/Chairman of the Muslim Community/Council of your state of origin. Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a screening. The application deadline is Monday, November 27, 2023.
