The UNESCO Mid-Level Professionals Programme (MLPP) is a prestigious recruitment initiative that offers talented mid-level professionals the opportunity to begin or advance their careers as International Civil Servants at UNESCO. While the program is open to candidates from all UNESCO Member States, priority consideration will be given to individuals from non- and under-represented Member States, as well as to internal candidates.

Requirements:
To be considered for the MLPP fellowship, applicants must:
- Be a national of a UNESCO Member State. Qualified candidates from non- and under-represented Member States are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Meet the educational and work experience requirements established by UNESCO for professional positions at P-3 and P-4 level.
- Have a minimum of 4 years (for P-3) or 7 years (for P-4) of relevant work experience, including international experience.
- Hold an advanced university degree (Masters or equivalent) in the relevant field.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of at least one working language of the Secretariat (English or French). Knowledge of the other working language and additional languages (Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish) may be required or considered an asset.
