Napoli's President, Aurelio De Laurentiis, has announced that Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian striker who played a crucial role in Napoli's first Serie A title win in over 30 years by scoring 26 goals and providing four assists, has agreed to extend his contract with the club. The Naples-based team is eager to maintain their success during the 2023/24 season and retain Osimhen for as long as possible. However, despite having just over two years left on his current contract, there are reports of increasing interest from other clubs such as Manchester United and Bayern Munich. Real Madrid may also be considering an approach for him but have recently signed Joselu while continuing to pursue Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain.
