The Cage of Mindset

We live in a world surrounded by a cage of mind-sets,
Nothing can escape, for these thoughts are still fleeting.
People live their lives, both in joy and sadness,
But one thing remains: to open the tightly-locked cage of mindset.

It's a cage that forms when we let our thoughts become small,
When our minds are closed off from the big picture of all.
So to break free, to make a change,
To escape from the mindset that constrains,

We must open our hearts and minds to see,
All the possibilities that are before us and be.
We must ask ourselves 'What can I do,
To free myself from the cage I'm locked into?

To find our way out, we must be strong,
And look at life with a new perspective, not wrong.
Then, with a new outlook, we must learn to grow
And we'll truly see the truth that truly glows.

The cage of mindsets can be tough,
But all we need to do is be strong and have faith enough.
With the right attitude and a strong will,
The way out of the cage will be revealed.
