Brilliant Enugu Girl Who Scored 8Bs and A1 in WAEC Gets Scholarship Offer from Wigwe University

A talented young girl from Enugu, Ani Oluebube Stephani, has been offered a scholarship by Wigwe University, founded by the late Access Bank CEO Herbert Wigwe, after her outstanding performance in the West African School Certificate Examination (WASCE).

Oluebube sat for her WAEC in 2023 and achieved an impressive result, scoring 8Bs and 1 A1. However, due to financial constraints, she was unable to register for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exam, which is required for university admission in Nigeria.

Her story was shared on social media by Alex Onyia, who highlighted her exceptional academic achievement and the challenges she faced in pursuing her education. Fortunately, Wigwe University has stepped in to support Oluebube's academic dreams, offering her a scholarship if she passes JAMB next year.

This generous offer is a testament to the university's commitment to supporting talented students who may lack the resources to pursue their education. With this scholarship, Oluebube will have the opportunity to achieve her full potential and make a positive impact in her community.

_We wish Oluebube the best of luck in her future endeavors and commend Wigwe University for their support of talented students like her!_
