Job Summary:
Data Platform Consultant Design, architect, build and manage data solutions to improve data reliability and quality as well as combine raw information from different sources to create consistent and machine-readable formats using CAF architectures that enable data extraction and transformation for descriptive, predictive, or prescriptive modeling and reporting.       
                           
Job responsibilities include:
• Interdepartmental collaboration in scoping solutions
• Analyze raw data and translate business needs into data deliverables.
• Interpret trends and patterns.
• Evaluate business needs and objectives.
• Design architecture, timelines, requirements, and roadmap for data platform solutions and services
• Manage data solution adoption and utilization.
• Build master data management systems and techniques for managing and integrating master data.
• Build data systems and pipelines.
• Create and manage data models, data flow diagrams, data mappings, and data dictionaries.
• Design, develop, and manage data technology stack (databases, data pipelines, data warehouses, data marts, and data lakes)
• Facilitate data integration and transformation requirements for moving data between applications, ensuring interoperability of applications with database, data warehouse, and data mart environments.
• Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling.
• Establish effective data governance frameworks.
• Facilitate the creation of dashboards, reports, or downstream data feeds from a wide range of data sources.
• Understand business objectives, design and define work required to achieve business goals.
• Collaborate with data scientists, architects, and software engineers on several projects.
• Work with leadership and information security team to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and recommend improvements.
• Identify and explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
• Identify opportunities for data acquisition.  
• Facilitate workshops, training, and knowledge sharing with stakeholders

Job Requirements
• A bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field is preferable.
• Minimum of 5 years' working experience.
• Previous experience as a Data Engineer/Analyst or similar
• AZ900/ DP200/ DP201/DP300 is an advantage.
• Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Microsoft Azure Cloud Computing/related cloud platforms, SQL, TSQL, BI, RDBMS, ETL, Data warehousing, Data Modelling, Data Analysis, Data Mining, Data Segmentation, Analytical skill
