For she is more than enough
Carved in his image to represent him well
In her, dwells strength, capacity for exploit
To her world drama, she plays the weaker character
Villain and Hero not her type, so they thought

Yet, she is a voice that cannot be ignored
So much locked up in this gender
To her ordained man, he is favoured
To her right rib, the gracious one
To her world, she is a one in a lifetime creature

 A Gap in my cocoon

In stages I ought to develop till I'm grown
Metamorphosising till I'm fully formed.
On pages I long to scribble till I'm heard
Philosophising until I'm known.

No longer am I the best at what I chose
No longer can I see through without a dosel
There's a bitter pain gnawing my heart
An unknown force blocking my path.

I wish my screams could be seen
Just like my heart thuds within
I wish to be adored like the winter moon
But there seems a gap in my cocoon.
