Details:
The India-Africa Security Fellowship Programme invites applications from African Fellows to engage with India's research community. The fellowship provides an opportunity to pursue research on topics that enhance our understanding of security challenges in Africa or explore possibilities for enhancing India-Africa security cooperation. This programme aims to enhance mutual research capacities on strategic issues.

Requirements:
To be considered for the India-Africa Security Fellowship, you should be:
- Scholars and researchers from reputed universities, think tanks, government officials, defence services officers, and individuals of eminence.

Duration and Reward:
The India-Africa Security Fellowship offers residential accommodation, office space, internet connectivity, and other necessary support facilities. Fellows will receive a monthly fellowship amount of Rs. 50,000/- along with economy class airfare.

Method of Application:
Interested applicants for the India-Africa Security Fellowship should submit the following:
1. An 800-word research proposal demonstrating its relevance to the aims of the fellowship program, the benefit to the host institute (MP-IDSA), the timeframe, and the expected end product.
2. A 500-word statement of purpose explaining how the fellowship will benefit the scholar.
3. An updated resume.
4. Two published papers as writing samples.
5. Two letters of reference (professional/academic).

Completed applications must be sent by post or email, at least three months prior to the intended start date of the fellowship, to "The Director-General, Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (MP-IDSA)" at dg.idsa@nic.in.

Candidates accepted for the fellowship will require a research visa for the duration of their stay. MP-IDSA will provide a letter of affiliation to facilitate the visa process. Candidates are advised to contact the Indian Embassy/High Commission/Consulate in their host countries for further information on the process and timeline.
