Paul Merson believes that Mohamed Salah is one of the best players in the world and Liverpool should seriously consider a £200m offer for him.

Despite rejecting a £150m bid from Al Ittihad, Merson thinks it would be difficult to turn down such a substantial amount. He questions whether Liverpool can win the league this season and suggests that taking the money could allow them to rebuild their team.

With another week left in the transfer window, Merson expresses concern that an even higher offer might come in.
