Napoli values Osimhen at €150m (£128.8m), but the club president is open to offers that they cannot refuse as contract extension negotiations stall. The Nigerian international scored 26 goals in Serie A last season, helping Napoli secure their first title in 33 years.

Al Hilal has made a substantial offer of €140m (£120.3m) for Victor Osimhen, along with a weekly wage of £1m. This Saudi Pro League club recently had a bid accepted for Kylian Mbappe worth €300m (£259m), although the player declined to meet with them. They also attempted to sign Lionel Messi before he joined Inter Miami.

It is believed that Napoli would require more than €150m (£128.8m) to even consider selling Osimhen, who finished as the top scorer in Serie A last season during their championship-winning campaign.

Osimhen, aged 24, was pursued by Manchester United this summer, but talks regarding a new contract with Napoli have hit an impasse. Sky Italy reports that a meeting between Napoli and Osimhen's agent failed to reach an agreement on extending his current deal which expires in 2025.

Last month, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis mentioned progress on a two-year contract extension for Osimhen while expressing openness to considering irresistible offers.

In addition to pursuing Osimhen, Al Hilal has secured signings from Ruben Neves (Wolves), Kalidou Koulibaly (Chelsea), and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (Lazio) this summer.
