THE HULLABALOO OF SPORTBETSCAM; THE NEGATIVE IMPACT ON THE YOUTH

Lately, I came across a thread on Twitter on sportbetscam, where most youths are agitating and complaining about how much they have lost while playing this game. I even saw someone who ran into debts of millions of Naira as a result of playing a bet. Isn't that awful?

One would wonder, How did they get there? Well, one thing I am aware of is that sports betting is bait from the devil to lure so many people into being lost completing without having a financial plan for their future. In this case, the more they play, the more they get addicted to it which makes it difficult for them to be free. Some even go as far as borrowing from online loan apps to get money quickly

Someone would ask, what causes this? To me, I think lack of Patience and an inability to look inward and make use of the God-ordained potential that has been deposited inside of them. Trust me, there is no man with no virtue or potential. We all have it, it just takes a conscious effort to look inward and recognize them.

Please do not get me wrong, this is not to criticize anyone or lampoon those who found themselves in this shoe but rather to provide solutions that can curb this demonic messenger planted among humanity bu the devil.

So, what can we do about it? First and foremost, let's educate ourselves and our peers about the risks and tricks scammers use. This is just a trap. They will promise you that you will get rich quickly, whereas, you would only land yourself in financial trouble. Some people even later get depressed due to several losses. Don't let the excitement blindside you! Look before you leap

As a matter of fact, look for the potential God has given you, those skills you think are not significant are capable of making you a wealthy man. Be diligent and consistent at it. Do not give in to temptations or pressure from others and trust me you would be in awe at what you are capable of creating for your future.
