Rangers Complete Signing of Dessers From Cremonese

Rangers have signed Nigerian international Cyriel Dessers from Italian side Cremonese for an undisclosed fee. The striker, who scored 10 goals last season, including six in Serie A, was a top target for manager Michael Beale. This marks Rangers' sixth signing of the summer and Dessers has agreed to a four-year deal at Ibrox.

Dessers joins Abdallah Sima, Sam Lammers, Jack Butland, Dujon Sterling, and Kieran Dowell as part of Rangers' efforts to surpass Celtic in the Scottish Premiership. The 28-year-old forward has represented Nigeria four times and has played for clubs such as Feyenoord and FC Utrecht in Holland, as well as Genk, Lokeren, and OH Leuven in Belgium.
