Loss of teeth isn't a sign of old age

There has always been a popular myth that the loss of a tooth is for people who are of old age. Well, I am here to debunk such a myth as it is very far from the truth. There are several reasons why people lose their teeth and this has nothing to do with their age or even gender.

One of the major causes of loss of tooth is poor oral hygiene. when you forget to brush and clean your teeth regularly, you are at the risk of your teeth packing their bags and going on a journey of no return.

As a matter of fact, a high intake of sugary foods can put the strength of your tooth at risk. They deteriorate faster than you can think or imagine. Rather, consume more fruits and veggies. They do help in building healthier and stronger teeth.

Medical conditions like gum disease can also contribute to the loss of teeth, hence, this has nothing to do with age. It can happen to anyone. This is why regular dental check-ups, a balanced diet, and steering clear of harmful habits like smoking are very effective in having strong gum.

Not only this, Accidents and sports injuries can also contribute to you losing your teeth unexpectedly. Thus, being careful especially during sporting activities is very important.

In a nutshell, taking care of our teeth is like hosting a royal banquet for them – brush, and clean appropriately and you will experience what it means to have healthy teeth.
