According to PUNCH Sports Extra, Turkish media outlet Pesindeyiz Galatasaray has expressed interest in signing Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi from Leicester City. The defensive midfielder joined the Foxes from Belgian Pro League club Genk for £17m in 2018 and was part of the team that won the FA Cup under Brendan Rodgers this year. However, with one year left on his contract and Leicester looking to reduce their wage bill following relegation from the Premier League last season, they are willing to let him go.

Ndidi is currently one of Leicester's top earners but has struggled with fitness over the past two seasons. Despite making 27 Premier League appearances last season, he failed to reach his peak due to injuries. As a result, Leicester is not interested in renewing his contract as they prepare for next season's campaign in the Championship.

Galatasaray's interest could provide an opportunity for Ndidi to continue playing at a high level while also potentially earning more money than he would at Leicester. It remains unclear whether or not negotiations will progress between both clubs, but it will be interesting to see how this story develops over time.
